The Canadian Police Knowledge Network (CPKN) is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of its users. CPKN supports the Protection of Privacy and the Freedom of Information Act in accordance with all applicable federal and provincial statutes.
CPKN collects and stores web usage information and system logs. These records may contain personally identifiable information (e.g. IP addresses) and are used to manage capacity, performance, and security, as well as to maintain and improve services. Responsibilities of Users
CPKN users require authorized access, typically via a username and password. Individual users are responsible for their own learning accounts and must never share passwords with other individuals.

CPKN collects personal information necessary for the creation of a user account as requested by the individual or agency. Collected information includes, but is not limited to, first name, middle initial, last name, badge number, e-mail address, and billing contact information. CPKN is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information you provide to CPKN via registrations, evaluations, or surveys, is done so voluntarily. However, non-identifiable information may be shared with CPKN stakeholders, management or development teams for the purposes of enhancing CPKN products and services.
