New Courses Available
We're excited to announce the three new courses, and one free learning resource have been added to CPKN's course catalogue for August.
Missing Persons Investigations (MPI)
This course has been created to equip all law enforcement professionals with the tools required to effectively conduct missing persons investigations in a timely manner, in accordance with applicable policies and current best practices.
Presented in partnership with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
Fentanyl Production and Trafficking
This course will introduce learners to fentanyl, production methods, precursor chemicals required to produce fentanyl, the Precursor Control Regulations, and the hazards associated with fentanyl to assist in identifying and mitigating exposure to the toxic hazards associated with production.
Presented in partnership with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
Airport Policing
This course will support police officers assigned at Canada's Class 1 airports in enforcing, monitoring, and applying airport security measures in accordance with approved programmes, and to communicate and cooperate with other airport agencies.

Managing Risks of Disappearance in Persons Living with Dementia
This free learning resource will help first responders gain a broader understanding of persons living with dementia, their risk of getting lost and how to approach and manage dementia-related missing incidents.
