Update to CPKN's Catalog: Toggle Course Languages

On Monday, June 20, 2022, CPKN will be updating the CPKN catalog to combine French and English courses.  This update will give you the opportunity to enroll in a single course and toggle between languages when accessing bilingual courses.

Accessing Bilingual Courses

Learners with English Preference Language Settings:

Upon Logging in and accessing the CPKN (Canadian Police Knowledge Network) catalog from the Course Library, you will have access to al course titles listed in English.  Courses available in English only will be listed with English course titles and will continue to show the green chalkboard icon and titles.  Bilingual courses with the new toggle functionality will be listed with the French title and show the new fr/en icon.

Learners with French Language Settings:

Upon logging in and accessing the RCSP (Reseau Canadien du Savoir Policier) catalog from the Course Library, you will have access to bilingual courses and courses available in English only. Courses available in English only will be listed with English course titles and will continue to show the green chalkboard icon and titles. Bilingual courses with the new toggle functionality will be listed with the French title and show the new fr/en icon.

Complete Unfinished Courses by June 20, 2022

Unfortunately, your progress on affected courses will not be saved. You are currently enrolled into one or more of the courses on the list linked below. Please complete these courses by Monday, June 20, 2022. If the course is not complete, you will be re-enrolled into the updated course, but progress will be lost and you will need to click through the course to where you last left off.
