New Free Learning Event: Occupational Health & Safety: Frontline Officer

Until January 31, 2012, Occupational Health & Safety: Frontline Officer is offered as a free learning event to Canadian police and law enforcement personnel.

This course is designed to ensure that frontline officers understand how health and safety is integrated into emergency and non-emergency events. In addition to identifying common workplace health and safety hazards, it explores the impact of workplace incidents; the rights, responsibilities, and authorities associated with health and safety legislation; and the requirements for an effective incident investigation. It was developed in collaboration with Public Services Health & Safety Association with funding from the Police Sector Council.
