Free Learning Event: Personal Protection Strategy

Personal Protection Strategy for Infection Prevention and Control is offered as a free Learning & Evaluation event until December 31, 2011. All Canadian police and law enforcement personnel are invited to participate in this free introductory period which is sponsored by the Police Sector Council.

Developed in collaboration with Peel Regional Police Service, Personal Protection Strategy for Infection Prevention and Control is designed to familiarize police officers with the use of the personal protection strategy as a means to reduce the risk of contracting an infectious disease. In addition to reviewing the risks associated with infectious disease, this one hour course examines the key principles of the PPS and how to apply those principles to prevent the spread of infectious disease.

As part of the Learning & Evaluation period, all learners registered to the course are asked to complete a brief survey to provide feedback on their learning experience. At the end of the free access period, all feedback is compiled into a report which is made available to sector stakeholders. All learner information and feedback will remain anonymous.
